AirAsia BIG Membership will be determined by a boarded flight sector on AirAsia and AirAsia X in each calendar year (January to December). Each boarded flight on AirAsia will be counted as one sector while on AirAsia X will be counted as two sectors. To attend the top AirAsia BIG membership status, you need to board at least 50 flight sectors within one calendar year.
AirAsia BIG Membership Elite Tier
- Red status: 0 to 13 boarded flight sectors
- Gold status: 14 to 23 boarded flight sectors
- Platinum status: 24 to 49 boarded flight sectors
- Black status: More than 49 boarded flight sectors
Earned membership status will be valid until the end of next calendar year.

- Platinum and Black elitist will get an unlimited complimentary Premium Flex benefits for every AirAsia and AirAsia X flights when book directly on AirAsia website.
